Finding the right ratio.
With the increased interest in cannabis products for health purposes, we know that you’re bombarded with tons of information. And the truth is, this information has been around for a long time; in fact, evidence suggests that people have been using marijuana since 2900 BC.
It’s just time that the medical community caught up with history.
But while you might find a lot of information out there about cannabis in general, deciding what is right for you and your pet is a little more complicated.
You’ve probably seen the word “custom” floating around our website…and it’s there for a reason. No, it’s not to make you feel like you’re getting the Lamborghini of cannabis products (although, you really are).
It’s because our products ARE customized for each pet and each situation. Each tincture is a specific blend of natural ingredients for your pet. They have to be in order to be effective.
Let’s take a closer look.
The Entourage Effect
Although the Entourage Effect sounds like a new show on HBO, it’s actually a term that we use in the cannabis community to explain the essential combination of THC and CBD that are used in each custom extract.
Yes, we said THC. But before you dismiss us for trying to get your dog high…stick around for a minute.
THC and CBD work best together and actually should be used – but only in the right ratio (see how we did that?). These two pieces of the wellness puzzle can only be found in cannabis – not hemp – and must be customized in order to benefit your pet.
Why this works.
Now, we’re not naïve. We know that there are other cannabis products out there for your pet. And if you’ve found one that works, that’s great! Our ultimate goal is to see more pets benefiting from the use of cannabis products.
But consider this.
If you went into your doctor’s office with a serious ailment – let’s say in this situation it’s cancer – would you expect your doctor to hand you a pill and send you on your way? No follow up appointment, no real information about what it is that you’re taking?
So, does it really make sense to give your dog a cannabis treat that you really know nothing about…without any sort of information or follow up to see if it’s working?
Because your pet’s right:ratio tincture is customized to fit their needs, it’s important to the process to know whether or not it’s actually working. Do formulas need to be adjusted? What differences have you seen?
We really want to know.
Our goal is not to alter your pet in any way, but to ensure his or her quality of life. If your pet is in pain, we want to help them find comfort. When your dog suddenly seems worried and high-strung, let us help you find a solution for their distress. If your dog has been diagnosed with cancer, let’s talk about it and see how we can help.
You see, finding the “right ratio” isn’t just about our customization process…it’s also about finding the “right ratio” of experience and attention to detail your pet deserves.
