Dosing matters
The instructions printed on your box and inside it, covering all five Formulary tinctures. Your bottle’s own instructions always take precedence.
Directions
Shake well for at least 30 seconds before use. Use the oral syringe provided to dose your pet twice a day, with breakfast and dinner. Right:Ratio should be administered into the back side of your pet’s mouth.

- Start at 0.10 mL per dose. For sensitive or geriatric cats, 15 years and over, start at 0.05 mL per dose.
- Administer inside the inner aspect of your cat’s cheek, or by mixing with food or treats, or simply rubbing the dose on their gums.
How to give a dose

Shake the bottle for 30 seconds.
Open the syringe and depress the plunger fully into the cylinder.
Remove the cap. Place the bottle on a table and hold it firmly.
Insert only the tip of the syringe into the centre of the adapter.
Turn the bottle upside down and pull the syringe to the amount you need.
Return the bottle to the table, then pull the syringe straight up.
Place the syringe into the back of your pet’s mouth and depress the plunger.
Right:Ratio can be mixed with meals or treats if needed.
What to expect
Early relaxation or sleepiness may occur. This usually passes.
Progress commonly begins with steady twice-daily dosing.
How to optimize dosing
Every 5–7 days, increase the dose by 0.05 mL - 0.2 mL to 0.25 mL, and so on - until optimal results are achieved.
For sensitive pets, use smaller steps or extend the time between increases. Stop increasing when you reach the optimal dose: the highest dose with (1) no side effects and (2) consistent, meaningful improvement.
Watch for side-effects
Dysphoria, when your pet experiences the psychoactive effect of full spectrum products, rarely occurs, typically is not harmful, and passes in 4–8 hours. Although Right:Ratio is designed so this will not occur, because every pet’s response is different, you may see signs of dysphoria such as:
